Celebrate the 1st Anniversary of THE NIIGATA

The Niigata Information Center, THE NIIGATA, located in Ginza, is celebrating its first anniversary on August 8th. To express gratitude for the continuous support received over the past year, we are hosting special events and campaigns over ten days, from August 1st to 10th. We invite you to discover the diverse charms of Niigata, including its culture, food, and craftsmanship.

Exciting Activities and Events

Day 1: August 1st - Special Opening Ceremony

The celebration kicks off on August 1st with a special guest appearance by comedian Obata no Oniisan, who will serve as the Honorary Director for the day, welcoming visitors.

Shopping Floor Events (1st Floor)

• - New Menus at THE ONIGIRI・Ya: We are excited to introduce five new rice ball fillings that showcase local Niigata ingredients. All components for these new flavors can be purchased at the shop, so you can enjoy them at home too!
• - Special Rice Ball Offer: On August 8th only, vote on your favorite new rice ball flavor and get it for just 88 yen (tax included). Note: This offer is limited to two rice balls per person and will end once supplies run out.

THE SAKE Stand (2nd Floor)

• - Original Cups with Tasting: After August 1st, visitors who collect eight tasting tickets from THE SAKE Stand’s selection of 40 types of local sake will receive a unique original cup in collaboration with outdoor gear maker CAPTAIN STAG.

Restaurant THE NIIGATA Bit GINZA (8th Floor)

• - Limited-Time Special Course Menu: Experience an exclusive course menu available only from August 1st to 10th. Additionally, we will feature sake that is not typically on the menu, perfect for a unique pairing during this limited-time period.

Relocation Consultation Center (B1 Floor)

• - Gift for New Registrations: Those who register for consultation services from August 1st to 10th will receive an original tote bag. Attendees can also participate in a lottery for a chance to win fantastic prizes!
