Terra Charge Corporation, renowned for its electric vehicle (EV) charging services, has made a significant announcement regarding the installation of a 50kW rapid EV charger at the upcoming X-BASE SHIBUYA office space. Scheduled to open in January 2026, this innovative setup is located in the heart of Shibuya at 2-15-13, Matsushima, and will be operated by Toyota Real Estate Corporation.

Purpose Behind the Installation

X-BASE SHIBUYA aims to meet the high demand for office spaces, particularly among IT companies in the vibrant Shibuya area. With the rise in electric vehicle usage, it seeks to provide a safe and accessible environment for EV users. The installation of the rapid charger is part of a strategic move to enhance convenience for office workers and visitors, thereby contributing to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure in the region and promoting a carbon-neutral society.
