JACK GOMME Unveils Collaboration with Marianna Ladreyt
JACK GOMME, the Parisian bag brand renowned for its lightweight and functional designs, has exciting news! The company, managed by Ash-P France Co., Ltd. based in Minato, Tokyo, has partnered with celebrated designer and artist
Marianna Ladreyt to introduce an exclusive collection that fuses artistic flair with practicality. Scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, this unique collection promises to elevate your accessory game with its sustainable approach and vibrant artistry.
A Product of the Hyères International Festival
This new collection is born from the
Festival International de Mode, de Photographie et d’Accessoires de Hyères, a prestigious international design festival that has been a launchpad for emerging talents since its inception in 1986. Known for discovering young fashion designers, photographers, and accessory creators, the festival has been instrumental in promoting notable figures like
Anthony Vaccarello and
Viktor & Rolf.
During the festival, the visionary founders of JACK GOMME,
Sophie and Paul, met Marianna Ladreyt, who shares their passion for bold colors and innovative designs. This collaboration brings together JACK GOMME's practicality with Ladreyt's experimental artistic sensibility, resulting in a fresh and captivating bag collection.
Reinterpreting Icons Through Upcycling
The collection reimagines the iconic JACK GOMME models, the
LIRIS and
KANGOUROU, through Ladreyt's unique lens. The
LIRIS, originally launched in 2008, is now presented in a colorful quilted version featuring Ladreyt’s signature
Algue (seaweed) motif embroidered onto it. This combination of bright colors and organic shapes effortlessly transforms a functional bag into an art piece.

Meanwhile, the storied
KANGOUROU, a brand favorite since 1995, has been updated with a transparent front panel, creating a unique “porthole” effect that reveals its insides. This playful feature adds depth and humor, providing a new dimension to the beloved design.

The collection also introduces a charming keychain in the form of a small fish,
AKAMAS, which embodies the quirky spirit of this collaboration. This delightful accessory adds a touch of whimsy and color to the bag, further enhancing its artistic appeal.
Sustainability Meets Functionality
All items in this collection feature recycled buoy materials and fabric stock sourced from the brand’s archives. By combining various materials and colors, each design embraces the element of chance, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect individuality.
JACK GOMME’s trademark functionality and lightweight nature are complemented by Ladreyt’s artistic interpretations. The result is a collection that serves as both everyday bags and striking art objects, showcasing a perfect balance between sustainability and style.
