Storyline Overview

Set within the heart of the cafe in Jiyugaoka, the story revolves around the character known as 'Me', who is struggling to fill the blank pages of a script. Adjacent to him, a woman labeled as 'Her' writes her letter with a wistful expression before leaving the cafe – forgetting her umbrella behind. This mysterious act sets 'Me' on a quest to find the owner of the umbrella, marking the beginning of his own story.

About Machijuroso

The name Machijuroso creatively combines the terms for morning and evening performances in theater. In the industry, afternoon performances are called Matinee, while evening shows are referred to as Soiree. When a performance takes place between these two, it is known as Jurne. The term Machijuroso embodies the experience of attending multiple shows in a day, aiming to create a vibrant atmosphere where audiences can enjoy musicals at various cafes throughout the city—be it morning, noon, or evening.
