Special Admission for Kobe Residents
Kobe Suma Seaworld, operated by Granvista Hotel & Resort, is thrilled to announce a special event called
'Kobe Citizen Week'. This initiative aims to celebrate the residents of Kobe City from
December 7th to 12th, 2025. During this week, individuals who reside in Kobe will have the opportunity to purchase a
one-day admission ticket for only 1,000 yen. This generous offer commemorates the
Kobe Port Memorial Day on December 7th.
The decision to extend this event to six days comes after the immense success of the previous year's
Kobe Citizen Day, which saw an overwhelming number of local attendees. In order to provide even more residents the chance to enjoy the attractions, an additional five days have been added to the original schedule, allowing for a broader participation.
Visitors can look forward to experiencing unique attractions, including the only
Orca Performance in Western Japan. Spectators can witness the incredible skills of these sea creatures, showcasing their athleticism in dazzling displays. Riders are encouraged to wear ponchos, as the orca’s performance is known to create splashes of water, offering a fun and immersive experience.
In addition to the orca performances, guests can explore the
'Local Life' exhibition, which replicates the natural environments of the
Rokko Water System and the
Seto Inland Sea. This area is home to various native species such as the Japanese pond turtle and the Buddhist wets, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about the rich biodiversity of the local ecosystem.
