DXC Technology Welcomes Pat McClanahan as New Global Head of Business Operations

Having an impressive background in both public and private sectors, McClanahan brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Federal Reserve Board, where he led a team of senior executives responsible for critical operations, including financial planning, information technology, cybersecurity, and human resources. His previous roles also include vice president of operations and strategy at Gannett, overseeing a workforce of over 15,000 personnel.

In his new position, McClanahan will directly report to Howard Boville, the president of DXC Consulting and Engineering Services. His efforts will focus on improving employee productivity, optimizing sales efficiency, and ensuring strategic alignment across DXC’s AI-enabled consulting and engineering services.

McClanahan's extensive military background includes 24 years of service in the United States Navy, where he retired as a captain after holding significant leadership positions at the Pentagon and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His military experience brings a unique perspective to DXC’s operational transformation goals, complementing his deep knowledge gained in the corporate sector.

Under McClanahan's leadership, DXC aims to not only streamline its operations but also to foster an environment that encourages innovation and adaptability in response to the ever-changing technology landscape.
