This innovative vehicle aims to provide a solution for the growing transportation issues faced in both urban and rural areas, addressing problems such as shortages of public transport drivers.
The launch kicks off with a special safety workshop held in collaboration with the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Tobe Station and Tokio Marine Group. This event will take place at Dockyard Garden, located on the premises of the Yokohama Landmark Tower. It aims to educate the public on the proper traffic rules and safe riding practices for various electric vehicles, including the electric seatboard, e-scooters, and electric assist bicycles.

Notably, more than 80% of users leverage this service for daily commuting, school travel, and shopping trips, demonstrating the growing reliance on alternative transportation.
At the launch event, participants will receive valuable insights into safe riding, alongside practical experience through test rides. Additionally, Luup will distribute user guidebooks and ensure participants understand the app's requirements for using the electric seatboard and other vehicles.
Luup has committed itself to hold safety workshops and awareness events every time it introduces a new vehicle or expands its services to new areas.
