Caprock Midstream II Expands Operations in South Texas

Caprock Midstream II LLC, recognized for its significant contributions to the energy sector, has officially announced an aggressive expansion of its operations in South Texas. The company is set to enhance its presence by acquiring more than 90 miles of pipeline infrastructure, specifically tailored for the transport of residue gas through one of the most productive areas in the region.

The newly acquired pipelines consist of 16-inch and 20-inch systems that enhance connectivity from central Webb County, crossing through La Salle, McMullen, and southern Live Oak Counties. This strategic acquisition will ultimately connect to the Transco market, strengthening Caprock's service capabilities to meet the rising demand from its customer base in the area.

This expansion is a pivotal step for Caprock, effectively supporting increasing production volumes and improving operational connectivity across critical zones. The Texas dry-gas fairway has seen rapid growth, and Caprock’s investment underscores its dedication to operational excellence and long-lasting partnerships with local producers.

Additionally, Caprock Midstream II is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Jones as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Jones brings over 25 years of experience in the energy and midstream sectors, known for his leadership skills and a proven ability to drive strategic growth and enhance operational performance. His extensive background positions Caprock well for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

In his statement about the expansion, Jones noted, "This development signifies an important milestone for Caprock as we continue to invest in South Texas and strengthen our service capabilities. I’m honored to join this talented team and collaborate with Energy Spectrum Capital to build upon Caprock's history of success. With the ongoing expansion activities by producers in the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk formations, we see substantial opportunities for further growth within our operational footprint."

Caprock is dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and environmental responsibility while delivering innovative midstream solutions that generate long-term value for its clients, workforce, and stakeholders. The company stands out in its commitment to excellence, marrying operational growth with sustainable practices.

The investment into the South Texas region demonstrates Caprock Midstream II's broader strategy of capitalizing on the increasing demand for energy resources while fostering economic stability in the areas they serve. As part of Energy Spectrum Partners VIII, a leading private equity fund based in Dallas, Texas, Caprock is poised for exciting developments in the near future.

With this expansion, Caprock Midstream II reaffirms its commitment to providing industry-leading service and innovative solutions in the ever-evolving energy landscape.
