IsoEnergy's Drilling Update at Hurricane South Trend



IsoEnergy Ltd. (NYSE American: ISOU; TSX: ISO) recently announced the resumption of its summer drilling operations at the Hurricane South Trend, part of the Larocque East project located in the eastern Athabasca Basin, Canada. This comes after a temporary suspension due to safety precautions from nearby wildfires. Preliminary results are promising, with all four completed drill holes intersecting high levels of mineralization, confirming the prospectivity of this area for future exploration.

Key Findings from the Drilling Program


The summer drilling program aims to complete approximately 8,000 meters using up to 20 drill holes targeting the Hurricane South Trend. Notably, the first drill hole, LE26-250, encountered an impressive radioactivity level of 43,160 counts per second (cps) over 0.5 meters, reinforcing the continuity of the newly identified L Fault Zone. This significant finding aligns with a previous intercept of 4.21% U3O8 over 3.5 meters found in another hole drilled during the winter of 2026.

Among the four completed holes, all returned elevated radioactivity, further solidifying the mineral richness of the Hurricane South Trend. This preliminary success builds on the previous exploration results from 2025 and the early winter of 2026.

Strategic Expansion of Land Position


In addition to promising drilling results, IsoEnergy has expanded its strategic land position in the Athabasca Basin, augmenting its holdings by 61,830 hectares. This includes newly staked claims across the Dorado Joint Venture and additional projects, aimed at enhancing their exposure to prospective uranium resources. An option agreement with GEM Oil Inc. has further expanded land coverage, allowing for a more effective exploration strategy targeting uranium-rich areas.
