An Exciting New Sports Experience: "SCOPE with KASHIMA ANTLERS"
Get ready for an unprecedented event where
soccer meets triathlon! On
January 12, 2026, the SCO Group will team up with
Kashima Antlers FC and
Triathlon Japan to create an amazing multi-sport experience aimed at promoting children's physical well-being. This initiative not only emphasizes the importance of physical health but also encourages teamwork and fun through sports.
Event Overview
This unique event will be held at the
Tsukuba Academy Center in
Ibaraki Prefecture, where children in the elementary grades can have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field. Celebrated
Kashima Antlers alumni
Takayuki Suzuki and Olympian
Yuko Takahashi will lead the participants in soccer and duathlon training sessions consisting of biking and running. Additionally,
Dr. Chihiro Yamamoto, the
Kashima Antlers Oral Care Doctor, will deliver valuable insights to parents and children about the significance of oral care in sports.

- - Target Audience: Elementary school students (grades 1-6), limited spots available through a lottery.
- - Cost: Free (Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation)

What to Bring
Participants should come prepared with the following items:
- - Running shoes and sportswear
- - Bicycle and bicycle helmet (necessary for the triathlon experience)
- - Hydration (water or sports drinks) and warm clothing
Please note that it’s crucial for children to use their own bicycles and helmets for safety reasons, particularly equipment they are familiar with, regardless of the specific type.

- - Parking is unavailable; please arrange for your own transportation.
- - Participants will be required to wear “SCOPE” T-shirts during the event, and recommended to have warm layers underneath.
- - The event will proceed rain or shine; however, schedules may change based on weather conditions.
- - Insurance will be provided by the organizers, covering participant injury with specific compensation amounts. If additional coverage is desired, please arrange that separately.
- - Event staff may capture photos and videos during the event, which may be used for promotional purposes by the host organizations.
