LiuGong Breaks New Ground at CONEXPO 2026 with Electric Solutions

At the highly anticipated CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 held in Las Vegas, LiuGong, a leader in the global construction equipment sector, unveiled an impressive array of 13 machines across multiple product lines. This year’s theme, "Tough Customers. Tough Equipment," highlighted LiuGong's dedication to providing robust solutions for challenges in urban construction, mining, and large infrastructure projects.

Innovations in Electric Equipment


One of the key highlights was the introduction of the fully electric 922FE excavator, along with the wheel loaders 870HE and 820TE. These models represent LiuGong's growing commitment to electric solutions in the American market, boasting over 40% lower operational costs. This reduction stems from decreased wear and tear on parts, fluids, and filters, alongside simplified maintenance processes. The electric machines ensure silent operation and deliver immediate torque, making them ideal for urban construction, demolition, and public sector investments—where minimizing carbon emissions is crucial.

Currently, LiuGong’s electric equipment is at work in over 60 countries, with cumulative sales exceeding 60,000 units. This marked a significant stride towards sustainability in construction equipment.

High-Performance Diesel Equipment


For applications demanding high productivity, LiuGong also showcased the 952F excavator and the 856T wheel loader, both powered by Cummins engines meeting Tier 4 Final / Stage V emission standards. Designed for endurance, these machines are tailored for mining, extraction, and extensive infrastructure projects where reliability and continuous performance are essential.

Precision Machinery for Enhanced Profitability


In addition, LiuGong introduced specialist machines such as the 4215D motor grader and the 6608F roller, emphasizing precision grading and rolling capabilities. The advanced accuracy achieved during operations, combined with integrated technologies, helps minimize the need for reworks, surface replacements, and labor re-mobilization, allowing clients to adhere to schedules and manage operational costs effectively.

The TD16N bulldozer rounds out LiuGong's offerings in key earthmoving equipment categories. Leveraging standardized telematics and diagnostic systems, managing various types of machinery becomes seamless, thus simplifying fleet management and after-sales processes.

Beyond showcasing innovations, LiuGong held the "Tough Customer Talk" podcast series at booth F18033. Here, customers and dealers shared real-world insights about the performance and reliability of LiuGong machines, alongside their impact on business operations. Andrew Ryan, president of LiuGong North America, emphasized the importance of supportive partnerships throughout the project lifecycle. "Demanding customers require a single reliable partner from the initial dig to the final grade. Our aim is to provide durable, efficient equipment alongside a unified service network," Ryan stated.

Prior to the event, LiuGong North America hosted a two-day dealer conference, gathering local partners to discuss market trends and future growth strategies. This collaboration offered a platform for dealers to exchange best practices and success stories, reinforcing partnerships and setting strong foundations for market expansion.

On March 4, LiuGong and Cummins celebrated 30 years of global collaboration, marking a milestone where over 300,000 LiuGong machines were equipped with Cummins engines. The Guangxi Cummins plant has also produced more than 300,000 engines since its inception, showcasing the strength of their long-standing partnership.

On March 2, LiuGong held a press conference attended by nearly 50 prominent media outlets. Executives Liu Guobing, Li Dongchun, and Andrew Ryan discussed LiuGong's latest strategy and answered media questions regarding industry trends and future development plans.
