Aged for 20 months in authentic French oak from select cooperages, the wine displays a deep ruby-purple hue, accompanied by aromas of dark fruit, cedar spice, and intriguing hints of graphite. The full-bodied palate is polished and the long, elegant finish invites both immediate enjoyment and future aging potential. Wine Palate awarded this vintage a remarkable 93 points, confirming its prestigious standing.

To commemorate this milestone, John Anthony Vineyards proudly participated in the 2026 Auction Napa Valley by contributing a single barrel of the unreleased 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon to support charitable fundraising efforts. On July 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., John and Michele Truchard will host an exclusive pre-release celebration at one of their private properties.
