Organized by Sony Creative Products Inc. and d'strict from South Korea, this exhibition will take place at the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Tickets will go on sale starting June 5, 2026.

A Dream Hotel Concept

The exhibition is centered around a unique concept—the dream hotel imagined by Sanrio's iconic characters. Visitors will check in just like at a real hotel, receiving room keys and entering through a beautifully designed entrance lobby, adorned by the delightfully pink aesthetic reflective of the Sanrio universe. The experience unfolds within an engaging space where visitors can immerse themselves in the whimsical and cute environment crafted by d'strict, featuring interactive installations that allow guests to create memorable moments alongside their favorite characters.

Visually Captivating Spaces

The hotel room tour begins from the entrance and features various themed areas designed to entice guests’ senses. From a vibrant garden that sparkles with light to a grand ballroom filled with enchanting illuminations, the journey continues into uniquely adorned guest rooms. Each of the eleven themes highlights the individual character’s charm and experiences, including:
  • - My Melody Room: A whimsical space echoing fairy-tale elements, immersed in shades of pink.
  • - Hello Kitty Room: A romantic setting inspired by roses and piano melodies, offering a delightful feel of nostalgia.
  • - Kuromi Room: A neon retro space alive with flowers and butterflies, creating a surreal atmosphere.

One of the standout features includes a beautiful pink beach, where real sand recreates a dreamy landscape extending to the horizon. This exhibit brings in elements that were a hit in its previous locations in South Korea, offering a fresh experience for visitors in Japan.

Meet Your Favorite Characters

The exhibition will feature beloved Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Little Twin Stars, Pochacco, Hangyodon, and Kerokerokeroppi. Each character contributes to the overarching dream hotel theme, ensuring that visitors can experience the charm of Sanrio in ways they've never encountered before.

Exclusive Merchandise

Alongside the exhibition, special limited-edition merchandise will be available for fans wanting to take a piece of the experience home.
