Regenerative medicine is rapidly evolving, and one of the biggest challenges in this field is ensuring a stable supply of high-quality induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells). Traditional methods for assessing the quality of these cells rely heavily on the subjective judgement and experience of skilled technicians. This reliance on human expertise can lead to variability in quality assessments and increased workload for professionals in the field.

In response to these challenges, Shimizu Corporation has been proactively working to optimize the cell culture processes involved in regenerative medicine. Their efforts include the development of advanced tools and systems, such as the "S-Cell Lab," which features cutting-edge environmental control capabilities, and the "S-Cell Robot," designed to assist in cell culture operations. Furthermore, the "S-Cell Manager" plays a pivotal role in overseeing incubation tasks to streamline workflows and ensure consistent results.
