Call for Illustrations on Heatstroke Prevention

As climate change intensifies, the risk of heatstroke is becoming a growing concern. It is crucial to take preventive measures to safeguard against this potentially life-threatening condition, especially during the sweltering summer months.

In light of this, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is launching the “Heatstroke Prevention Tips for Daily Life” initiative, inviting residents to contribute original illustrations highlighting effective strategies to combat heatstroke. This year, the focus will be particularly on practical steps that can be communicated through art. Participants will have a chance to win fantastic prizes, making it even more rewarding to contribute to this vital cause.

  • - Theme 1: “My Heatstroke Prevention Tips”
  • - Theme 2: “Heatstroke Prevention Tips for Seniors”
Example: Seniors may find it difficult to notice temperature changes, so checking the thermostat daily can be a helpful practice.
