Why Tottori?

This seminar marks an important step for Iwaki as it seeks to connect with the local community. According to a survey conducted by the Financial Services Agency, Tottori Prefecture had 108,725 NISA (Nippon Individual Savings Account) accounts as of June 2025, ranking it lowest among all Japanese prefectures. However, a breakdown of account opening rates by age group and prefecture, conducted by web media Finasee, indicated a higher than expected engagement, with a 24.5% NISA account opening rate, placing Tottori in 17th position among the 47 prefectures.

While the total population may be lower than urban areas, the enthusiasm for investment and asset management among Tottori residents is significant.
