Sports FUN PARK: A Celebration of Sports and Sustainability
As the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics approaches, excitement builds with only 100 days to the event. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is set to host an exhilarating gathering called
Sports FUN PARK - A Festival of Sports and Sustainable Living in the heart of
Komazawa Olympic Park, specifically at the central square. This initiative not only serves as a significant platform for athletes to connect with the community but also offers immersive experiences in both deaf sports and para sports.
Scheduled from
November 22 to 24, 2025, the Sports FUN PARK will be operational from
10 AM to 4 PM each day. The park is well accessible: located just a
15-minute walk from
Komazawa Daigaku Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, or via a short bus ride from
Shibuya Station on the JR Yamanote Line.
This dynamic event will feature an array of activities including:
- - Guest Athlete Stage Events: Expect thrilling talks and performances featuring renowned athletes. Participants can look forward to hearing from athletes such as Masaki Sato (Judo), Yuki Tanae (Skiing), Keiichi Kimura (Swimming), Tomonari Kuroda (Blind Soccer), and Manami Tanaka (Wheelchair Tennis).
- - Deaflympics Viewing Support Booths: Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the athletes and sports through this dedicated support booth, enhancing their experience during the Deaflympics.
In addition to the FUN PARK, two other events will be held concurrently at the same venue:
1.
Sports Festa 2025: Taking place over the same three days, this event focuses on hands-on experiences across various sports disciplines, promoting active participation and enjoyment.
2.
TOKYO Ethical Marche: A market dedicated to ethical consumption featuring products and workshops aimed at fostering social consciousness. Join us in exploring sustainable practices in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
All activities at Sports FUN PARK are free to attend, making it perfectly accessible for everyone.
We encourage all individuals to participate, whether you're an athlete, a supporter, or simply someone curious about the sports community. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy sports while fostering a spirit of inclusivity and sustainability.
