Everlight Solar Enhances Community Support This Thanksgiving Across the Midwest

Everlight Solar's Thanksgiving Community Initiatives

As the Thanksgiving season approaches, Everlight Solar once again demonstrates its commitment to community support across the Midwest. This year, the company's employees in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Nebraska came together to make a significant impact through a variety of volunteer efforts and food donations aimed at supporting local families in need.

Wisconsin Volunteer Efforts

In Wisconsin, Everlight Solar's teams from the Madison and Milwaukee offices actively participated in volunteer activities at local hunger-relief organizations. They dedicated time to Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin and Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin, which are two of the state's largest networks dedicated to combating hunger. Furthermore, the Madison office generously donated over 50 boxes filled with non-perishable items to the Badger Prairie Needs Network. The Milwaukee team contributed over 60 food items to the Interchange Food Pantry, one of the oldest and most efficient community food programs in Milwaukee.

Nebraska Initiatives

The Omaha office took similar steps, with team members volunteering at Food Bank for the Heartland, an organization that provides food assistance across the region. Additionally, they donated over 50 pounds of non-perishable food to the Bellevue Food Pantry, ensuring that local families have access to basic necessities.

Minnesota Contributions

Everlight Solar's commitment to giving back extended to Minnesota as well, where employees volunteered with Second Harvest Heartland, one of the largest hunger-relief agencies in the nation. Moreover, they provided food donations to BrainPower in a Backpack, a program that supplies nutritious meals to students when school is not in session. These efforts highlight the company's dedication to nourishing not just bodies but also minds, as they help ensure that children have access to essential meals.

Commitment to Community

Reflecting on these initiatives, Casey Creech, the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Everlight Solar, stated, "We are grateful to help the communities in which we live and work. Giving back is in our culture, and this year's Thanksgiving efforts reflect a commitment to helping dozens of families across the Midwest." This sentiment encapsulates Everlight Solar's broader mission of building stronger, more sustainable communities. The company aims to create lasting change not only through its solar energy solutions but also via compassion, service, and proactive involvement in local affairs.

Future Directions

Looking ahead, Everlight Solar is determined to continue this trajectory of community service beyond Thanksgiving. Their volunteerism and support will remain integral pieces of their operations throughout the year, contributing positively to the early results of their community development initiatives.
