Soar Autism Center Offers Free RBT Training to Enhance Autism Education and Care

Soar Autism Center Launches Free RBT Training Program

The Soar Autism Center has made a significant announcement that aims to transform autism education and care through the introduction of a free 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program. This initiative is firmly rooted in the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a developmental-behavioral framework that skillfully combines the science of learning with playful interactions and nurturing relationships.

As autism awareness grows and the demand for qualified professionals increases, Soar Autism Center recognizes the necessity to make evidence-based autism education more accessible. This training is not only intended for those pursuing a career in the field but also for parents and caregivers eager to understand and support their children diagnosed with autism.

The training program is the product of collaborative efforts from Soar's team of ESDM-certified clinicians and autism experts who form the Clinical Advisory Board. Participants will be introduced to foundational principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through the lens of ESDM's relationship-centered approach. Throughout the program, attendees will learn how to effectively utilize play, structured routines, and responsive teaching techniques to foster key communication, socialization, and cognitive skills in children, all within a positive and developmentally sound environment.

Will Martin, the Head of ESDM Implementation at Soar Autism Center, commented on the significance of this training, stating, "Soar was founded to transform early autism intervention by integrating developmental and behavioral sciences. Our new training series reflects that same philosophy, empowering caregivers and future RBTs with both technical skills and a compassionate, relationship-focused mindset that drives meaningful progress for children."

The ESDM-Focused RBT Training program aligns with the latest 2026 Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements. Being entirely online, self-paced, and free, it removes financial barriers that often hinder individuals from accessing high-quality autism care education. This initiative is strategically designed to encourage more people to enter the field of autism support, ensuring a broader availability of essential resources for young children diagnosed with autism.

"Our clinical leaders at Soar have trained hundreds of RBTs within our centers, and this program allows us to extend that expertise more widely," Martin added. By integrating RBT training with ESDM principles, Soar Autism Center is setting a higher standard of care for children with autism across various regions.

Enrollment is now open through the Soar Autism Center website, where participants can sign up for this invaluable training. Upon completion, they will receive a certificate validating that they have fulfilled the 40-hour RBT training requirement, a crucial step toward obtaining BACB certification.
