The global furniture industry is set to converge in Pudong, Shanghai from September 9 to 13, 2025, for the landmark 30th edition of Furniture China alongside the updated Maison Shanghai. This dual expo is organized by the National Furniture Association of China and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, utilizing two major venues: the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and the Shanghai World Expo and Convention Centre (SWEECC). Over 3,200 exhibitors are expected to participate, with projections of around 200,000 visitors from around the world, all converging on more than 350,000 square meters of exhibition space featuring cutting-edge furniture collections, design innovations, and eco-friendly solutions.
A special highlight at the event will be the dedicated garden furniture pavilion located in Hall E8B of the SNIEC, showcasing collections that transform outdoor spaces into elegant relaxation areas with weather-resistant lounge chairs, modular sofas, dining sets, and eco-conscious accessories. Another notable exhibition will feature outdoor design elements in Hall E6, while Hall N2 focuses on renowned outdoor furniture brands.
Aligned with current trends, the ReMe ESG Sustainability exhibition (Booth E5D12, SNIEC) promotes the integration of ESG values into design and commerce. This conceptual green area fosters waste recycling and low-carbon design through immersive installations and forums.
Simultaneously running with Furniture China are FMC China and FMC Premium, which will gather global leaders in furniture components, raw materials, and manufacturing technologies. This provides a holistic view of the systemic factors underlying furniture quality, featuring exhibitors from over 15 countries showcasing advanced technologies that bridge the gap between design and industrial production.
At the SWEECC from September 9 to 12, Maison Shanghai will focus on the evolving design landscape under the theme "Design Infinity." Divided into four thematic zones (H1–H4), this exhibition will unite over 800 design-oriented brands, showcasing life-style curation concepts, original art-inspired furniture, and innovative materials.
- - H1: Comprehensive 'all-in-one' solutions covering from upholstery to total space design strategies.
- - H2: Lifestyle trends focusing on space organization for emotional well-being.
- - H3: Maison Design Highland showcasing elite designers’ works.
- - H4: Direct sales from factories, promising affordable quality.
Maison Shanghai will also host over 100 forums and various events, including the prestigious Gold Idea Design Award, the CREDAWARD, and the influential Maison Design Forum that presents a global perspective on the commercial and cultural value of design.
To support attendees, the revamped DTS FurnitureChina app will enhance online and offline integration, facilitating pre-registration, partner search, and 24/7 trading opportunities.
