Ho Chi Minh City Promotes Tourism at WTM London 2025
Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism is launching extensive promotional activities at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, which takes place from November 4-6, 2025, at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Center. This event serves as a pivotal platform for the city to boost its international tourism presence and attract more visitors, especially from Europe.
Strengthening Global Partnerships
The tourism promotion program at the Vietnamese National Booth highlights Ho Chi Minh City's potential and strengths to international partners, particularly from the UK and Europe. By conducting thorough research on the international tourism market, the city aims to enhance business collaborations with major travel companies, travel agencies, and respected international media organizations. This approach lays the groundwork for the sustainable development of Vietnamese tourism on the global stage.
Key activities at WTM London include participation at the Vietnamese National Booth, showcasing the new image of Ho Chi Minh City and its cultural, historical, and culinary resources. The city aims to engage with British and international travel businesses to support the international buyer program for the ITE HCMC 2026 and participates in conferences, seminars, and side events to stay updated on global tourism trends and adopt advanced models to improve competitiveness in the international market.
Additionally, on November 4, there will be a meeting and work program with tourism agencies and partners in the UK. The aim is to present the new tourism potential of Ho Chi Minh City following administrative changes and share details about the new Vietnamese visa policy with the British tourism sector. Understanding the preferences and interests of British tourists will also be crucial to increasing the city's appeal as a travel destination.
The presence of Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Nguyen Cam Tu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center, and over 100 representatives from tourism companies across 28 countries will elevate this event's profile.
