Innovative Project at Resort Trust Group to Nurture Future Talent and Co-Creation Values

A New Challenge for Co-Creation and the Development of Future Talent

Resort Trust Co., Ltd., headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture and led by President and Representative Executive Officer, Yuuki Fushimi, is collaborating with the Graduate School of Business Creation University (located in Minato, Tokyo) on a pioneering initiative called the 'Resort Trust Group New Business Development Research Project.' This project aims to foster the future values of co-creation within the group and to develop the next generation of professionals.

Cultivating Autonomous Challenge Seekers

In this rapidly changing world, sustainable growth is only achievable if the group embodies its corporate spirit of 'pioneering new frontiers.' Thus, cultivating individuals who possess the will and drive to tackle challenges head-on and create 'new normals' is absolutely essential.

The project runs from June 2025 to March 2026 and involves 13 selected researchers from across the group, chosen voluntarily. These first-year researchers engage in a curriculum designed to deepen their understanding of societal and local challenges through 'creative thinking,' clarify core business concepts such as 'marketing' and 'targeting,' and learn about 'business models' and 'revenue models.' This comprehensive educational approach allows them to work on conceptualizing new business ideas.

Midterm Presentation Held

On October 22, the project celebrated its 'Midterm Presentation' event, marking a halfway point since the course began in June 2025. Each researcher presented unique and socially engaged business ideas, drawing on the knowledge gained over the past five months and considering the group’s business characteristics.

Examples of Presented Business Concepts:

  • - A member-co-created cultural salon connecting through empathy and support.
  • - Preservation and revitalization of cultural halls that have nurtured local arts, fostering regional development across Japan.
  • - A life passport for supporting impoverished countries in partnership with members.
  • - A well-being park that can be enjoyed across generations.

After the presentations, faculty from the Graduate School evaluated the uniqueness and social significance of each idea, providing specific, expert advice on marketability, profitability, and the roadmap to commercialization within the group.

Moving Forward with New Value Creation

As the project enters its latter stages, researchers continue to engage in mutual learning and competition, striving to explore the feasibility of their ideas until March 2026, tackling new value creation endeavors to shape the future of the Resort Trust Group.

The Resort Trust Group remains committed to leveraging its unique membership business model to continuously provide new values to society and customers. With the spirit of 'pioneering new frontiers' in mind, we are excited about the challenges that lie ahead for the Resort Trust Group.
