Kamagawa Sea World: A Unique Public Weigh-in Event
On November 1st, 2025, Kamagawa Sea World, a prominent marine theme park located in Chiba, Japan, will host a public weigh-in event for its resident marine creatures. Humboldt Penguins - These charming little birds will be weighed in baskets, demonstrating a different method of measurement.

Green Sea Turtles - The young turtles, which hatched earlier in the summer, will also be weighed, offering attendees a chance to see their growth.
The schedule for the weigh-in is as follows:
- - 12:00 PM - Bottlenose Dolphins at Surf Stadium
- - 12:40 PM - Sea Lions at Rocky World Sea Lion Area
- - 12:50 PM - Humboldt Penguins at Rocky Stadium's top level
- - 1:30 PM - Green Sea Turtles at Marine Theater
