Collaboration Unveils Yamaichi Brand Creative House for Strategic Growth

Introducing Yamaichi Brand Creative House (YBCH)

In a significant collaboration, Ujiie Bussan Co., Ltd. has partnered with Yamaichi Jisho Co., Ltd. to establish the Yamaichi Brand Creative House (YBCH). Based in Yokohama, Ujiie Bussan, led by CEO Satoshi Ujiie, has joined forces with Yamaichi Jisho, headquartered in Sendai and led by CEO Yohei Watanabe, to embark on this innovative brand strategy project.

What is YBCH?

YBCH is not merely a branding initiative; it aims to continually enhance and nurture the overall brand value of the Yamaichi Group. The project emphasizes in-house management of brand design and strategic marketing efforts. This creative platform aspires to address challenges from various segments of the group, ensuring brand consistency while strategically transforming insights into effective marketing actions.

The core team includes Sakamoto from the planning department of Yamaichi Jisho and Otsu, the media editor from Ujiie Bussan. Together, they will lead the charge in unifying brand strategy and communication design, fostering a collaborative project environment.

Developing a Comprehensive Creative Platform

YBCH operates across the Yamaichi Group, uniting various brand efforts in-house. It focuses on analyzing brand communication, evaluating market value, and developing integrated strategies that cover design, conceptualization, copywriting, positioning, and PR & marketing. Through this holistic approach, the initiative aims to create a synergistic relationship between the brand, organization, and wider society.

One of the main goals of YBCH is to build a “capable organization” that systematically analyzes challenges faced by different projects and translates these into actionable strategies. By leveraging generative AI for optimization and creative design, YBCH intends to update and enhance the company’s communication methods in accordance with modern demands.

The Vision for Future Growth

YBCH embodies a forward-thinking philosophy that encompasses continual nurturing of brands rather than simply creating them. The initiative will include workshops and discussions for employees, aiming to engrain the brand deeply into the corporate culture, allowing each staff member to become a steward of the brand.

The newly designed YBCH logo draws inspiration from the letter “Y” in Yamaichi Jisho’s emblem, representing continuity and respect for established brand heritage while illustrating a commitment to future endeavors.

Creating a Dynamic Marketing Framework

With the establishment of this marketing platform, YBCH will gather and analyze challenges emerging from various departments, groups, and new business ventures. It will develop strategies that can be implemented across the organization, fostering a continuous circulation of insights and actions that lead to enhanced brand management and marketing efficacy.

YBCH aims to transform the perception of brand management from mere creation to nurturing and growth. By connecting the values of member companies within the group, new business opportunities, and community engagement points will emerge through this creative platform.

Looking Ahead

Ujiie Bussan, in collaboration with the Yamaichi Group, is committed to leveraging brand strategy and creative prowess to craft the future of brands and communities. They will employ analytical insights and design-driven creativity to continue their challenge of shaping a prosperous future for both brands and the regions they serve.
