This malware was ingeniously embedded within binary files of Autodesk Maya, which were being shared through Epic Games' Fab.com, a site frequented by creatives and trusted by many professionals. AV-Comparatives responsibly alerted the security team at Epic Games of the threat, showcasing the real-world implications of their findings.
