On March 6, 2026, Yakitateno Karubi, a popular culinary destination known for its grilled kalbi bowls made with aged meat, is set to open its 36th restaurant in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. This new branch will be located in the Wakabayashi District at 9-1 Rokuchōno-me Minami-machi.

Founded by Monogatari Corporation, led by CEO Katsuhiro Kato, Yakitateno Karubi focuses on providing customers with a delicious dining experience at an affordable price. Their signature dish, the grilled kalbi bowl, is prepared using fresh kalbi (beef ribs) sliced daily and grilled upon ordering.

One of the key features of this dish is its exquisite sauce, crafted from a secret blend of 20 different seasonings. The balance of sweetness, spiciness, and acidity enhances the natural flavors of the beef, making it a must-try for meat lovers. Each bowl is served with 100% domestically sourced rice, ensuring a perfect pairing with the rich taste of the meat and sauce.
