R. Stanton Dodge Named Chair of National Jewish Health Board

National Jewish Health has announced the appointment of R. Stanton Dodge as the new chair of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Dodge, who has been a member of the Board for 16 years, takes over the leadership role from Evan Zucker, who served as chair since July 2023. Zucker will continue his involvement with the organization as a board member and part of the executive committee.

R. Stanton Dodge brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for DraftKings Inc., where he is responsible for overseeing the legal and government affairs, as well as corporate communications. Prior to joining DraftKings, he held key positions in DISH Network Corp., a Fortune 200 telecommunications company, where he was executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Dodge began his career as a law clerk for Hon. Jose D.L. Marquez at the Colorado Court of Appeals.

A distinguished graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude, Dodge also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Vermont. Beyond his legal expertise, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic and philanthropic efforts.

Currently, besides his leadership at National Jewish Health, he serves on the Board of Directors of EchoStar Corp. Dodge has also been influential in various capacities, including roles on the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission and the Federal Judicial Selection Advisory Committee for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet. His accomplishments have earned him significant recognition in the legal community, including being listed in the Legal 500
