National Eczema Association Unveils Free Community Events to Support Eczema Patients in 2026

National Eczema Association Launches Free Community Events for Eczema Management

The National Eczema Association (NEA) is excited to announce its 2026 Living Well with Eczema series. Designed to aid those navigating the challenges of eczema, this series consists of free one-day community events aimed at enlightening patients and caregivers on effective management strategies. The initiative kicks off on August 1, 2026, in New York City, specifically at the New York Academy of Medicine, with additional events planned in Columbus, Ohio, and St. Louis, Missouri.

Tailored Support for Eczema Patients

In the United States, over 31 million individuals are affected by eczema, making it crucial to provide accessible resources. The NEA has committed to enhancing the lives of eczema patients and their caregivers by facilitating understanding and management of this often stressful condition.

Each event is structured to offer practical education through expert-led discussions, cover essential treatment options, provide evidence-based advice, and foster supportive community connections. Attendees will leave with enhanced knowledge, which can empower them to tackle their condition more confidently.

Kristin Belleson, NEA’s President and CEO, emphasized the importance of such community outreach: “Living with eczema can be overwhelming, especially when trying to navigate treatment options and conflicting information. Living Well with Eczema was created to help people access trusted education, practical tools, and meaningful community connections. We want attendees to leave feeling more informed, more supported, and more confident in managing their eczema.”

What to Expect at the Events

  • - Evidence-based education on eczema and its treatment options
  • - Discussions focusing on the emotional and mental health impacts of living with eczema
