Steven Bainbridge from Greenberg Traurig Takes on Role as FIA Judge for Motorsports Tribunal

In a significant development for the world of motorsports, Steven Bainbridge, the co-chair of the Sports Business Industry Group at the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been elected as a judge of the International Tribunal (IT) and International Court of Appeal (ICA) of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). This prestigious appointment was made during the FIA General Assembly, where Bainbridge joined a group of 36 judges who will address disputes arising from motorsport authorities around the globe, including high-stakes cases related to premier racing series such as Formula One and World Rally Championship.

Bainbridge’s term will span until the end of 2029, marking a pivotal opportunity for the lawyer to influence the governance and legal standards surrounding international motorsport.
