LivEQuality Group Takes Bold Step in Rebranding to Restore Dignity to Mothers and Children

Transforming Housing for Mothers and Children



In a significant move to address the increasing challenges in urban housing, LivEQuality Group, formed by the real estate company LivEQuality and certified NPO LivEQuality HUB, has announced a comprehensive rebranding initiative. This rebranding aims not only to strengthen the group’s position in the housing market but also to solve pressing societal issues by advocating for a concept they define as “Japan's Affordable Housing.”

Background and Objectives of the Rebranding


Since its inception, LivEQuality has effectively combined the strengths of its corporate and non-profit arms to offer affordable housing options while fostering community connections. Since starting its operations in 2021, it has secured 121 housing units in Nagoya and has provided stable residence to 27 single-mother households, helping 66 individuals regain their footing.

The group focuses on providing accessible employment opportunities, clean living conditions, and supportive services. Remarkably, over 80% of the single mothers who have lived in LivEQuality housing for more than six months have found employment, with a 0% rental arrears rate. This suite of support helps these mothers work toward financial independence and personal stability through employment and completion of divorce processes.

Amid rising real estate prices in urban areas, the issue of “housing poverty” is increasingly recognized. Many families, including single-mother households and essential workers, are forced to move to the suburbs due to high housing costs, exacerbating economic and opportunity disparities. To tackle these issues, LivEQuality Group has developed innovative financing mechanisms, including impact bonds, raising a total of 810 million yen to advance their mission.
