Upcoming Seminar on FIP Transition and Energy Storage
Smart Energy Inc. and AnPrenergy are excited to announce a joint seminar titled
"Maximizing Business Profits Through FIP Transition and Energy Storage." This event will kick off on
May 16, 2025, aimed at businesses considering or currently participating in the energy market.
The seminar consists of
four sessions, focusing on essential aspects of the business model, simulation techniques, and business planning related to the FIP transition and energy storage integration. The initial session, titled
"Understanding the FIP Business Model," will delve into the details of the FIP system and provide insights into the associated revenue structure.
Background of the Seminar
With the FIT system in effect for over a decade, the number of renewable energy power plants transitioning away from FIT—known as
FIP Transition—is increasing. While the FIT system guarantees a fixed price for electricity sales, concerns have arisen regarding the growing burden on citizens due to the renewable energy surcharge. In contrast, the FIP model allows power producers to adapt their sales according to market price fluctuations, potentially alleviating financial burdens on the public and enhancing the competitiveness of renewable energy.
However, this transition adds complexity, such as the need for power producers to handle imbalance costs and submit generation plans, which has led to stagnation in FIP adoption. Therefore, this seminar has been designed to clarify the FIP system and its associated business models, ultimately encouraging participants to adopt the FIP approach.
In addition, the importance of energy storage systems cannot be overstated for maximizing profits during this transition. Following the success of our previous seminar on energy storage business strategies held in 2024, we are thrilled to present this second installment focusing specifically on the theme of
"FIP Transition and Energy Storage".
