The renowned American outdoor brand, Merrell, has announced the launch of its exciting 2026 Fall/Winter collection, titled "Coastal Currents". This line, which will be sequentially released starting from August 6, 2026, is a premium offering from Merrell 1TRL. It features innovative designs that celebrate the dynamic ecosystems found along coastlines.

This season’s theme is inspired by the ever-changing habitats of coastal environments, capturing the beauty of weathered rocks, colorful seaweed, and the textures of marine life. The collection cleverly merges organic textures with technical functionality, showcasing a unique worldview that freely navigates the realms of urban living and nature, as well as blending performance-driven products with stylish designs. Each of the six distinct models embodies the season's concept of Movement, Adaptation, and The Elegant Chaos of Ecosystems.

The collection will first feature two trail running shoes: the MTL SpeedARC Peak and MTL ADAPT RPT, both making their debut on August 6, 2026. These shoes exemplify cutting-edge outdoor technology, integrating mineral colors and organic textures that are emblematic of the FW26 season. Additionally, the Relay Web model will also be released on the same date, drawing its roots from 2000s running shoes and providing a sleek connection between urban life and the outdoors.

On September 3, 2026, the Moab 2 Slide LTR Woven will hit the shelves, featuring an innovative woven upper crafted from two colors of leather. This design evokes the contrast found in coastal rock formations, while maintaining comfortable wear provided by the MERRELL Air Cushion and Vibram® Ecostep Recycle outsole.

Finally, on October 15, 2026, the lineup will expand with the Jungle Trek Mule RPT and Moab 2 Remix RPT. The collection integrates lizard-like textures and premium leather, reinterpreting the brand’s signature elements through a fresh lens for FW26. With a strong foundation in outdoor functionality, these designs seamlessly blend into urban environments without losing their unique appeal.
