Furniture China 2025 & Maison Shanghai

From September 9 to 13, 2025, the vibrant city of Shanghai will play host to the prestigious 30th edition of Furniture China alongside the newly revamped Maison Shanghai. These events are expected to draw attention from every corner of the globe, showcasing the latest innovations and sustainable practices in furniture design.

Jointly organized by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, this landmark exhibit will span an impressive 50 halls across two prominent venues: the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC). Over 3,200 exhibitors and an estimated 200,000 visitors are anticipated to converge on this platform, which will display cutting-edge furniture collections, design showcases, and sustainable solutions covering more than 350,000 square meters of exhibition space.

One of the event highlights is the dedicated Garden Furniture Pavilion located in hall E8B at SNIEC. Visitors can immerse themselves in an outdoor design experience, finding weather-resistant loungers, modular seating, chic dining sets, and environmentally friendly accessories, all crafted to transform ordinary outdoor areas into luxurious retreats.

In line with the growing importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in design and business, the ReMe ESG Sustainability Themed Exhibition (Booth E5D12 at SNIEC) will unveil an innovative green concept space. This area will foster awareness around recycling and low-carbon designs through engaging installations and informative forums, elevating the conversation around eco-conscious furniture production.

Alongside Furniture China, the FMC China and FMC Premium events will highlight the global leaders in furniture components, raw materials, and manufacturing technologies, providing a comprehensive insight into the industry’s upstream processes that ensure furniture excellence. Exhibitors from over 15 countries will present the cutting-edge technologies that bridge design and industrial production, creating vital connections within the marketplace.

At SWEECC, Maison Shanghai will take place from September 9 to 12, embracing the theme “Design Infinity.” This event will showcase the evolving landscape of design across four thematic zones (H1–H4), representing over 800 design-driven brands. Concepts will span lifestyle curation, original art-inspired furniture, and innovative materials to inspire and ignite creativity among attendees.

2. H2: Lifestyle Trends – Focused on emotional healing spaces conducive for relaxation and well-being.
3. H3: Maison Design Highland – Featuring elevated design experiences tailored to modern aesthetics.

Moreover, Maison Shanghai will host more than 100 forums and events, including the prestigious Gold Idea Design Award, CREDAWARD, and the Design of Designers (DOD), culminating in the influential Maison Design Forum that promises to provide global insights into the commercial and cultural value of design.
