PMET is also actively engaged in updating the Feasibility Study for the CV5 pegmatite, in addition to conducting a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the overall project. These analyses will include tantalum and caesium as co-products alongside lithium. The completion of these studies is on track for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Further substantiating its progress, PMET is pursuing a bulk sample application to extract about 50,000 tonnes from the high-grade Nova Zone, aiming to advance towards a shovel-ready status by year-end.

Power Considerations


A notable advantage for PMET is its proximity to Hydro-Quebec’s La Grande 4 power station, which lies merely 45 kilometers away. A proposal for power allocation has been submitted, and the company anticipates that this connection will offer a significant cost-effective and environmentally friendly power supply for the mining operations.
