Experience Authentic Sports at YOYOGI-PARK Festival
From March 14 to March 29, 2026, the YOYOGI-PARK Sports Festival will transform downtown Tokyo into a lively hub for both spectators and participants. Organized by MPandC, a leading sports management company, the festival focuses on providing a genuine sports experience featuring top athletes in various sports. Targeting families, youth, and sports enthusiasts, the festival aims to promote active lifestyles by encouraging attendees to not just watch but also engage in sports.
Festival Concept
The YOYOGI-PARK Sports Festival embraces the theme of "Authentic Sports Experience" and seeks to merge the urban community with the world of sports. It will feature demonstrations by elite athletes, allowing audiences to witness extraordinary talent up close, along with hands-on activities. The festival is designed not only for entertainment but also to foster social contributions through sports. Four main purposes underscore the festival's mission:

Main Programs Overview
Each weekend during the festival will highlight a range of activities and themes:
- - March 14 (Spring Festival – Authentic Experience): An exciting day featuring baseball demonstrations and craft workshops led by former Major League player Mac Suzuki and popular YouTuber Tokusan TV. Additionally, other engaging sports such as full-contact karate, freestyle basketball, and double Dutch will be featured alongside street performers and various festival activities suitable for families.
- - March 15 (Urban Sports Day): Attendees can participate in sessions focused on parkour, pickleball, freestyle basketball, double Dutch, and breaking. Noteworthy guest performer, Shigekix, will showcase his skills, along with Olympic gymnast Ryohei Kato joining from Morley Kids Sports School.
- - March 22 (Women’s Marathon & Skateboard Experience): This day is particularly supportive of mom runners, featuring childcare options while they participate. A skateboard workshop for beginners will also take place, where professionals will demonstrate expert techniques.
- - March 28 (Another Urban Sports Day): Similar to the earlier Urban Sports Day, events will include thrilling participatory games with top tier athletes showcasing impressive skills.
- - March 29 (Japan Parkour League Round 1): The festival closes with Japan's first-ever three-team parkour competition. Top domestic tracers will demonstrate their skills, and beginners are welcome to join training sessions.
