TCL Unveils Revolutionary Visual Technologies and Smart Living Solutions at CES 2026
At the CES 2026 event in Las Vegas, global consumer electronics leader TCL made waves with its groundbreaking advancements in visual technology and smart living solutions. As the top brand for Mini LED and ultra-large televisions worldwide, TCL showcased a diverse range of innovative products designed to enhance connectivity, immersive entertainment, and productivity around the home.
Pioneering Display Technologies
In the realm of visual technology, TCL is pushing the boundaries further than ever before. The company introduced its SQD-Mini LED technology, which represents a significant leap in Mini LED performance. By transforming traditional local dimming zones into a Precise Dimming Series, this technology allows for extraordinarily controlled lighting across the entire screen. This results in outstanding performance, both in brightly lit areas and in shadowed spots. Incorporating TCL's industry-leading Super QLED technology and an Ultra Color Filter Panel, the new technology also promises longer durability, superior color accuracy, and higher peak brightness.
The highlight of this showcase is the TCL X11L, the world's first television equipped with SQD-Mini LED. This state-of-the-art model reaches 100% of the wide-color gamut standard BT.2020, featuring an Ultra WHVA 2.0 panel from CSOT that enhances color performance, native contrast, and clarity. With up to 20,736 precise dimming zones and maximum brightness of 10,000 nits, HDR content appears vivid and lifelike. The X11L boasts a sleek design, nearly 2 cm thinner than previous models feature a Virtually Zero Border aesthetic. For audio, TCL partnered with Bang & Olufsen to provide a premium sound experience.
Enhanced User Experiences with AI
In tandem with a focus on display technologies, TCL demonstrated significant advancements in smart television experiences with its collaborations with Gemini for Google TV and Dolby Vision 2. The latest models of TCL televisions incorporate even more intuitive features, such as enhanced search capabilities in Google Photos and creative functionalities with Nano Banana and Veo.
Additionally, Dolby Vision 2 paves the way for exceptional visual experiences using Content Intelligence for enhanced cinematic detail and environmental recognition, set to roll out on TCL's X and C series televisions via OTA updates throughout 2026.
Tailored Solutions for Visual Comfort
Focusing on users’ visual health, TCL introduced the NXTPAPER 70 Pro smartphone, which leverages NXTPAPER 4.0 technology to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. This smartphone features a dedicated NXTPAPER key that lets users switch between three different viewing modes effortlessly. Complementing this initiative is the TCL Note A1 NXTPAPER tablet, which integrates AI-based productivity tools for a paper-like reading and writing experience, ideal for those seeking a more efficient digital workspace.
For those exploring augmented reality, TCL also unveiled the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, the world's first augmented reality glasses with HDR10, designed to revolutionize portable viewing experiences.
A Commitment to Smart Living
Beyond visual technologies, TCL has expanded its product lineup by introducing a range of smart home solutions powered by AI. This includes TCL's FreshIN 3.0 air conditioning, GeniusFresh refrigerator, and various intelligent laundry appliances that streamline everyday tasks. Smart security offerings such as biometric locks and AI-driven home control systems enhance safety and connectivity in modern homes. TCL harnesses AI to elevate entertainment experiences, allowing users to enjoy enhanced image and sound quality across all devices.
The launch of the PlayCube projector brings cinematic experiences to any environment, while the TCL AiMe, a modular AI companion robot, aims to facilitate realistic interactions within smart homes.
Transforming Home Design
TCL also announced the NXTHOME initiative, which merges smart home solutions with lifestyle-oriented appliances and partnerships with premium brands like Bang & Olufsen and BMW Group Designworks Shanghai. In collaboration with Chris Lefteri Design, TCL presented ECORA™, a new sustainable material created from recycled porcelain ceramics, showcasing a commitment to eco-conscious design.
