2026 Japan Table Tennis Championships Kick Off in Tokyo
The excitement is palpable as the 2026 Japan Table Tennis Championships opens on January 20, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. This prestigious event brings together 811 top-tier table tennis players from across the country, all competing for the coveted title of Japan's best. Supported by JA Zennoh, the championships is set to feature four disciplines: men's singles, women's singles, and junior categories for both genders.
Two champions from the previous year, Takeru Matsushima from the Kinoshita Group and Hina Hayata from Nippon Life, will be back to defend their titles, bringing even more excitement to the competition.
