His new role officially commenced on August 1, 2026.

With over 25 years of international experience in management, specifically within operations, production, and large-scale investment projects, von Twistern is set to bring valuable insights and leadership to the company. He has previously held executive positions across multiple countries, including Germany, China, Italy, and the United States, giving him a diverse and global perspective that aligns with Jungbunzlauer's international footprint.

Before joining Jungbunzlauer, von Twistern served as the Vice President of Operations at UPM. His experience also includes significant leadership roles at Evonik Industries, where he was responsible for overseeing production governance, performance management, and operational excellence at multiple worldwide sites. His comprehensive understanding of the industry combined with a robust track record of enhancing operational efficiency makes him the ideal candidate for this crucial position.
