Not only does the expo allow for shopping, but it also offers a full immersive experience. Attendees can capture memories with photo opportunities, engage in tarot readings, and enjoy sideshow performances that guarantee entertainment. If you’re already intrigued, the expo will travel across
40 cities in the
U.S. and Canada in 2025, reaching a diverse audience eager to discover the unusual.
A Community That Celebrates the Weird
Founded by
Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio in
Oklahoma, the Oddities and Curiosities Expo has cultivated a robust community that values oddity and creativity. “We created this expo to provide small businesses and artists a platform where they can thrive,” Michelle shared, highlighting their vision to foster an inclusive space for those who revel in the bizarre.
Driven by a commitment to a DIY ethos and excellence, each year the expo grows, continually evolving to meet the desires of both exhibitors and attendees. This curated event distinguishes itself as the
original and
leading destination for the wonderfully weird and strange.
Hands-On Learning Opportunities
In addition to traditional expo activities, this year’s event will also offer engaging classes led by
Heather Clark of Sleeping Sirens Art & Oddities. Attendees can purchase tickets for a
Jackalope Taxidermy Class on Saturday, November 22nd, where they will learn how to create full-sized taxidermy mounts for
$225. On Sunday, beginners can join classes on entomology, focusing on beetles and spiders, at a cost of
$150. Whether it’s creating a taxidermy piece or pinning insects, students will receive everything they need to begin their journey into the arts of taxidermy and entomology.
A key aspect of these classes is the ethical sourcing of materials; all specimens used are derived from natural causes.
