The Exciting Launch of Racing Master’s First Official Tournament: The Legend Cup
NetEase Games, known for its engaging racing game, Racing Master, has officially announced the inaugural Legend Cup starting in July 2025. This extensive event will invite players from across Asia to compete in a thrilling showdown, ultimately culminating in a final event held in Bangkok, Thailand. This summer, Racing Master is set to kick off a vibrant racing season with their Summer Grand Tour.
Legend Cup: A Cross-Asia Racing Tournament
Starting on July 10, 2025, the Legend Cup will be conducted simultaneously across four major servers: Japan, Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. Over the initial tournament period, players from these regions will be able to battle it out for a chance to be among the top four racers from each server, determined by August 3.
The tournament is structured into four exciting stages:
1.
Qualifying Stage (July 10 - July 18): 4,096 participants from each server will be selected for further rounds.
2.
Breakout Stage (July 20 - July 24): The competition narrows down to 128 racers advancing from the initial 4,096.
3.
Knockout Stage (July 26 - August 3): From 128 racers, four representatives from each server will emerge, leading to the finals.
4.
Final Stage (August 23 in Bangkok): The top racers (16 in total) from the four servers will converge in Bangkok for a heated battle for the championship title.
There's a substantial prize pool allocated for this tournament, with the following rewards:
- - Champion: $10,000
- - Runner-up: $5,000
- - Third Place: $3,000
- - Fourth Place: $1,000

Challenge Pro Racer Nobuharu Taniguchi: The Legend Time Challenge
From July 18, participants will also have the chance to take on professional driver Nobuharu Taniguchi's recorded lap times in a special event called the “Legend Time Challenge.” This challenge features vehicles that Taniguchi holds dear, including the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) '85 and the Nissan Silvia Spec-R (S15) '99, among others.
Competitors will race on six noteworthy courses:
- - Haruna Mountain: Five consecutive hairpins
- - Haruna Mountain: Moonlit ascent
- - Shanghai International Circuit: Circuit
- - Shanghai International Circuit: Technical course
- - Tokyo Bay: Midnight city (half course)
- - Tokyo Bay: Shinkansen inner loop
Additionally, players can team up with friends for a collaborative racing mode, offering a chance to win spectacular rewards and exclusive honorary titles for high-ranking participants!
Finals and Racer Meetup in Bangkok
In line with the finals on August 23, Racing Master will host an offline competition and racer meetup in Bangkok. This gathering will provide an exhilarating event where leading players will join forces, showcasing their racing skills in intense battles. Furthermore, participants will enjoy a real-life meet with vehicle displays and cultural elements, expanding the game's universe into reality. The venue is expected to feature guest appearances and exciting special programs.
