CodeMettle Expands Its Role in U.S. Army Networking with New Contract
CodeMettle Awarded First Option Year on IDIQ Contract
ATLANTA, Aug. 11, 2026 – CodeMettle has recently announced that it has secured the first option year of a five-year Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. Initially awarded in 2025, this significant contract is designed to provide essential software licenses and support services for the U.S. Army's Integrated Network Operations Battalion and below (INB2), Command and Control Network Optimized for Warfighting (C2NOW), and the Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) programs.
This contract, with an overall ceiling value of $45.2 million, marks a pivotal moment for CodeMettle as it strengthens its position in delivering innovative solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD). The IDIQ framework establishes long-term procurement of software licenses and technical support, providing the Army with enhanced flexibility in meeting its operational needs.
Contributions to Modern Tactical Networks
The contract is managed under the direction of the Capability Program Executive Command and Control Information Network (CPE C2IN) and the Project Manager Command and Control Data/Artificial Intelligence (PM C2 Data/AI). This partnership is crucial for implementing training, software support, cybersecurity, engineering, and advanced troubleshooting for thousands of new and existing ConOptic users across the Army.
With its ConOptic software platform and INB2 solution, CodeMettle plays a vital role in advancing next-generation radio management and edge network orchestration—core capabilities that lie at the heart of the Army’s Tactical Network Operations (TNO) strategy. These advancements are essential for maintaining operational advantages in environments that are disconnected, degraded, or contested. The contract includes continuous delivery of software licenses to bolster satellite communication operations, facilitate radio and waveform integration, and assist in distributed network visualization and management.
