Nerima Ward is calling on community members to come together and contribute to a brighter future for its children. Inspired by donors' desires to support the less fortunate and enhance greenery in the area, Nerima has introduced a fresh set of donation menus, particularly emphasizing crowdfunding endeavors. This initiative allows the community to widely promote efforts online while gathering funds from various contributors.

We invite everyone to comprehend the significance of these initiatives and extend their generosity toward the cause.

New Donation Menu: Crowdfunding Initiatives

The new donation menus include several exciting projects aimed at engaging the community:

1. Create a New Future for Our Children!

Project: Together, let’s build a new art museum and library.
Goal Amount: ¥5,000,000
Deadline: March 31, 2024

This project aims to transform Nerima into a hub of culture and art by fully renovating the Nerima City Art Museum and the Kunii Library by 2024. Outlining a vision of interconnected spaces for art and literature, the project encourages authentic encounters with real art while enhancing the cultural landscape of the area.

2. Celebrate Urban Agriculture in Japan!

Project: Support the National Urban Agriculture Festival 2025.
Goal Amount: ¥3,000,000
Deadline: November 16, 2023

This festival aims to highlight the potential of urban agriculture across Japan, showcasing its importance and inviting collaboration among municipalities and farmers nationwide. Scheduled for November 15 and 16, 2025, this exciting event promises to captivate the hearts of many.

3. Revamp Our Park’s Image!

Project: Heisei Tsutsuji Park Renewal Project.
Goal Amount: ¥3,000,000
Deadline: March 31, 2024

Located in front of Nerima Station, this park is home to beautiful azaleas and serves as a representation of the community. With thirty years of service, it is due for a complete makeover. We aim to not only revitalize the park but to also enhance the restroom facilities, tailoring them to fit the identity of the neighborhood.

4. Supporting Youth from Foster Care
Project: Nerima’s Young Wings Support Project.
This program focuses on addressing the anxieties of young individuals raised in foster care or group homes, promoting their independence through financial support and creating safe spaces for growth.

5. Aiding Children with Medical Needs
Project: Support for Families of Children with Disabilities.
With a rising number of children requiring medical care, we seek to alleviate the burdens faced by their families, improving overall welfare and providing much-needed assistance.

6. Empowering Children from Single-Parent Households
Project: Experience Gap Alleviation Project.
New educational support initiatives will ensure that children have equitable access to learning and experiential opportunities, enriching their lives and futures.

A comprehensive pamphlet detailing all donation options and methods is available for distribution at local civic offices (except Nerima) and libraries. It can also be accessed online through the Nerima Ward website.
