Celebrate Pi Day with Plugrà Butter: A New Survey Reveals America's Pie Passion

Celebrate Pi Day with Plugrà Butter

As Pi Day approaches on March 14th (3.14), many people think of the math significance of the number C0, but a recent survey conducted by Plugrà® Premium European-Style Butter highlights another delicious angle. The survey reveals that a significant 93% of Americans associate “pie” predominantly with dessert rather than savory dishes like pizza. If you thought pizza was the champion of Pi Day, think again!

Survey Insights on America's Favorite Pie

Over 2,500 Americans participated in the survey, uncovering fascinating insights about their pie preferences. Where pie rankings stand high, Apple pie leads the way at 24%, closely followed by Pumpkin and Pecan pies, each owning 14% of the pie love. The survey indicates that pie indulging is not limited to special occasions or holidays; 28% of Americans indulge in a slice at least once a month, nurturing a baked-in habit across the nation.

Furthermore, 66% of respondents expressed a willingness to spend more on premium baking ingredients when striving for superior results, emphasizing the quality that matters when creating the perfect pie.
