The First Domestic Online Tournament for HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT

In an exciting announcement, Bushiroad Co., Ltd., located in Nakano, Tokyo, has officially opened registration for the first domestic online qualifying tournament of the 2D fighting game "HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT." The grand finale will take place during Jump Festa 2026, a highly anticipated event in the gaming community.

Tournament Structure

The inaugural official tournament, titled "NENPACT ARENA," will feature a two-stage format, comprising online qualifiers and an offline finals event. Participants will compete in two separate divisions: Steam® and PlayStation®5, vying for the top spots in their respective categories.

Online Qualifiers

The online qualifiers will kick off with the Steam® division on November 1, 2023, at 1:00 PM (JST), followed by the PlayStation®5 division on November 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM (JST). It is essential to note that players may only register for one division.

Tournament Details

• - Format: Double elimination
• - Match Wins: Best of three (BO3)
• - Character Usage: All characters are allowed
• - Match Settings: Random stage selection with a time limit of 180 seconds

Note:

Players must adhere strictly to the tournament rules. If a match is initiated under incorrect settings, it will be deemed invalid. Additional rules specific to the offline finals will be released in future updates.

Entry Requirements

Participants must fulfill the following criteria:

• - Eligibility: Competitors must reside in Japan and be able to communicate in Japanese.
• - Platforms: Competitors can participate via Steam® or PlayStation®5.
• - Age Restrictions: No specific age limit is enforced, but minors must obtain consent from their legal guardians before entering the competition.
• - Overlapping Entries: Players entering both divisions will have their registration for one division revoked. PlayStation Plus membership and the latest game patch are necessary for participation.
• - Finale Participation: Those who advance from the online qualifiers will compete in the finals at Jump Festa 2026, with in-person attendance required for participation.

Offline Finals

Scheduled for December 20-21, 2023, the offline finals will be held at the Bushiroad booth during Jump Festa 2026. Competitors in the offline finals will receive prizes, with additional awards for the top three finishers.
