Midea Brings Its Vision of a 'Simply Ideal' Home to Life at IFA 2026

Midea's Vision of 'Simply Ideal' at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 event held in Berlin, Midea unveiled its ambitious "Simply ideal" vision, presenting a range of innovations designed to transform homes into intelligent and comfortable environments. The exhibition notably featured a five-year partnership between Midea and the renowned FC Barcelona.

Emphasis on Smart Home Technologies

Midea's presentation featured the new SMART MASTER, showcasing an AI-powered home ecosystem. This cutting-edge technology facilitates a natural, intuitive interaction with household appliances, addressing everyday scenarios with ease. Through intelligent management, the Midea Robot introduces AI to daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, care, and overall household control.

AI ECOMASTER is another significant innovation, coordinating devices and interconnected systems with smart energy management. This solution learns household routines and adapts to changing needs, offering enhanced flexibility and comfort.

For those who prioritize space efficiency, the SPACE MASTER maximizes usable volume without altering external dimensions, as evidenced by an upgraded refrigerator storage design. Additionally, the BUILT-IN series highlights the Ispira line, inspired by Milan, combining aesthetic appeal with intelligent functionality for a holistic cooking experience.

Innovations for Everyday Living

Midea's commitment to user comfort starts with the air quality in our homes. The R290 series addresses the growing demand for efficient cooling systems. By leveraging advanced compressor and sealing technologies, alongside R290 refrigerant with extremely low Global Warming Potential (GWP), this series achieves approximately 10% higher energy efficiency.

In the kitchen, Midea simplifies daily chores, from food storage to cooking and clean-up. The Visionary series refrigerators enhance visibility and accessibility of food with features like GlassVision and touchless lighting. Cooking becomes a seamless experience with the InfiniteFit series cooktops, designed to integrate into European kitchens effortlessly, while the OmniFlex allows for versatile cookware arrangements. The PizzaPro built-in oven merges rapid heating capabilities with an 81-liter cavity, balancing speed and capacity perfectly.

Post-meal, the Tri-GreenApex system consolidates washing, drying, and storage functions, using about 50% less energy than the top European energy efficiency standards require. Midea's laundry solutions cater to various family needs, featuring multi-drum options for simultaneous washing cycles, and the OMNI-SERIES allows flexible configurations adaptable to different household routines.

During the event, Tobin Richardson, President of the Connectivity Standards Alliance, highlighted the role of Midea in promoting the Matter standard for interoperability among smart appliances, further enhancing their connectivity features.

Celebrating Partnerships and Innovations

Also at IFA 2026, Midea celebrated its partnership with FC Barcelona through an immersive experience at their booth. Legendary player Carles Puyol shared insights from his career, emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence. This collaboration reflects both Midea's and FC Barcelona's shared commitment to achieving world-class performance.

In parallel, Midea Group showcased its multi-brand portfolio, featuring TEKA's latest innovations under the theme “Meaningful Experiences Through Technology”. This included new coffee machine lines and other laundry care solutions embodying European design and functionality for modern living.
