Celebrating 33 Years of Empowerment: REACH LA's Annual Gala

On February 15, 2024, REACH LA will host its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Celebration Gala at Union Station in Los Angeles. This event, which brings together around 350 members from the LGBTQIA+ community, promises not only to honor three outstanding individuals but also to raise vital funds for the organization’s mental health and creative arts programs.

Honorees of the Evening

This year, REACH LA will present notable awards to the influential entertainer and activist Peppermint, the talented singer-songwriter Jessica Betts, and the impactful social media activist Blair Imani.

Peppermint: Trans Vanguard Award Recipient

Peppermint, a groundbreaking entertainer and advocate for transgender rights, is set to receive the prestigious Trans Vanguard Award. She made history as the first trans woman to originate a principal role on Broadway and has utilized her platform to advocate for greater representation and inclusivity for the transgender community.
