Teays River Investments Appoints Micah Vincent as President and CEO

Teays River Investments, a frontrunner in permanent capital holdings focusing on agriculture, has recently announced the appointment of Micah Vincent as its President and Chief Executive Officer. This decision was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors, with Vincent assuming the role immediately. Previously, he had joined Teays in July 2024 as the Chief Financial Officer and has been acting as CEO since May 2025, all while continuing his responsibilities as CFO.

In his new capacity as President and CEO, Micah Vincent is set to spearhead the holding company's strategies, support its operating divisions, and oversee the allocation of capital. His major goal will be to enhance performance within Teays’ investments, which include sectors like organic dairy, produce, and seeds. Vincent’s vision aligns with driving sustainable growth and creating value for all stakeholders involved.

Vincent brings a wealth of experience to this role, particularly in finance, strategy, and public policy. Before his tenure at Teays River, he held several executive positions at The Heritage Group from 2019 to 2024, centering on strategy and finance. His laudable career also includes founding Avenew, Inc. in 2022, where he served as a board member, as well as roles in advisory capacities, such as at Cirba Solutions from 2021 to 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University and a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

According to Jim Dwyer, Chairman of Teays River Investments, "Micah has demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and results during his tenure at Teays. After a comprehensive market search, the Board identified Micah as the ideal candidate to lead Teays into the future."

Vincent’s past public service experience is notable; he served as the Director of the Indiana Office of Management and Budget from 2015 to 2019, acting notably as the Chief Financial Officer for the State of Indiana. His finance and public policy roles span various positions within state government, earning him twice the Sagamore of the Wabash, Indiana's highest civilian honor. He currently serves on multiple civic and innovation boards, including the Indiana Public Retirement System, and holds director roles at Grimmway Produce Group and Remington Seeds.

"I am honored to step into the role of President and CEO at Teays River Investments," says Vincent. He emphasizes the importance of sustainable growth, aiming to enhance value chains and create long-term value for stakeholders, building upon the company's momentum in vertically integrated agricultural businesses.

Founded in 2008, Teays River Investments is based in Carmel, Indiana. It operates as a long-term holding company dedicated to investing in vertically integrated agricultural production, forging partnerships to enhance value and sustainability while reducing waste.
