Shanghai, July 16, 2025 -- In an exciting initiative to inspire the next generation of innovators in sustainable technology and advanced manufacturing, Shanghai Electric has officially launched the 2025 Digital Intelligence Technology Tournament. This tournament aims to harness and accelerate the development of young talents through the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies. This was announced in conjunction with World Youth Skills Day 2025, which highlights the crucial role of youth in driving change through digital competencies.

Open to all employees of Shanghai Electric worldwide since June 27, the tournament encourages contributions in the form of digital tools and research projects focused on optimizing and enhancing existing technologies. These submissions are expected to foster the digital transformation of the industry while promoting the growth of digital intelligence.

Shanghai Electric's commitment to long-term employee development is evident in its comprehensive training programs catering to management, technical, and qualified professionals.
