New Features of the Karaoke BanBan Official App

Karaoke BanBan, operated by Shin Corporation based in Tokyo, has announced the launch of a new reservation feature called "Imakara Reservation" in its official app. Starting March 10, 2026, this feature will be available at around 400 locations across Japan, following successful trials in select stores that have shown high user satisfaction.

Key Features of the 'Imakara Reservation' Functionality

24/7 Reservation Availability: Previously, customers could only book via phone. Now, by registering the app, users have the flexibility to reserve at any time that suits them, with phone reservations remaining an option as well.
Same-Day Reservations: Catering to the spontaneous customers who want to sing “right now,” the app allows reservations even on the day of the visit.
Customization Options: Users can choose their preferred karaoke machine (such as DAM or JOYSOUND) and room types (like family, projector-equipped, or designated for heated tobacco) within the app.
Easy Management: Reservations can be reviewed, changed, or canceled entirely through the app, eliminating the need for accompanying phone calls in case of schedule changes.

Success of the Pilot Program

After introducing the reservation feature in approximately 30 pilot stores since November 2025, Karaoke BanBan saw a significant increase in customer satisfaction, with repeat usage rising nearly twofold.

To celebrate the launch of the new reservation feature, customers who book through the app and visit will receive a 100 yen point bonus.
