Check Point Software Technologies Announces Integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for Enhanced Cybersecurity

Check Point Software Technologies & Amazon Bedrock Integration

In a significant advancement for cybersecurity, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) announced its upcoming integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, scheduled for June 17, 2026. This collaboration aims to extend Check Point’s renowned security controls into agent-based workflows, enhancing the safety of AI applications.

The integration promises to empower businesses with advanced AI behavior monitoring, designed to detect malicious or inappropriate actions. Furthermore, it will offer AI-native guardrails to prevent prompt attacks and ensure effective content moderation. Specific partners will gain access to detection signals, including prompt injection detection, indicators for sensitive data and DLP (Data Loss Prevention), content inspection, and behavioral threat detection.

Such detection signals will be incorporated into AgentCore's policies, effectively allowing AgentCore to function as a gateway outside of the agent's reasoning loop. Security teams will benefit from combining Check Point’s detection capabilities with deterministic, automated policy application. While detection operates probabilistically, policy application is consistently deterministic, providing organizations with the ability to uniformly authorize or deny actions taken by AI agents.

Adam Ely, Check Point's General Manager of AI Security, commented on the transformative potential of this integration: "AI agents are no longer limited to answering questions; they are now capable of operating autonomously, fundamentally altering the cybersecurity approach for enterprises. By integrating with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Check Point aims to embed behavior-based security within the agent lifecycle, ensuring organizations can define 'what actions agents are authorized to take' and 'how to ensure they act appropriately.' The boundaries are defined by authority, and Check Point will assist in securing the area within those boundaries."

This announcement is part of Check Point's ongoing commitment to bolstering AI workload security for AWS customers. Their mission is to protect organizations undergoing secure AI transformation, providing an open ecosystem architecture designed to minimize risks and streamline operations so businesses can confidently drive innovation.

Check Point's integrated security architecture continuously adapts to evolving threats and the expanding landscape of AI attacks, safeguarding hybrid networks, cloud environments, digital workspaces, and AI systems. The firm offers consistent protection and visibility across complex multi-vendor environments, focusing on four strategic pillars: hybrid mesh network security, workspace security, exposure management, and AI security.

With a global presence, Check Point protects more than 100,000 organizations worldwide. Founded on October 1, 1997, the company’s Japanese subsidiary, Check Point Software Technologies K.K., is based in Tokyo and continues to lead in cybersecurity innovations.
